(NHS statistics) that did not match Police convictions.
Youth work statistics indicate a staggering one in four
(25%) p.a. suffer child abuse and/or sexual assault in
Bradford. Gender (M/F Ratios) imbalance is a major
component of violence and sexual assault that seems
grossly under reported in some major cities. All the
most obvious indicators are well documented and statistically proven but the public are deliriously delusional about the cause and effect of corrupt
Government. I cannot find any political strategy or
any organisation today that can legitimately claim to
have reduced young people’s mental health or
behaviour problems.
other mainland cities. Scots-Irish tended to have large
families, where oldest siblings care for younger siblings
and so on until, as my aunt told me, the more children you have, the happier and easier life becomes.
Not many will understand this: My cousins, friends
and I played in a rat infested, cockroach carpeted
slum but living in these tenements was like living in a
small village (Billy Connolly). Every window and every
pedestrian were looking out for you. We walked or
travelled to visit friends, neighbours and family. We
ran errands for the elderly, helped with chores, walked
their dogs. I helped out at an old guy's allotment. I
brought home flowers for my mam, and fresh vegetables. Museums, art galleries, trade fairs etc were all
free. Anyone could request to attend college lectures
and students would style your hair, provide meals,
bake a cake, paint your portrait and sell their artwork
for pennies. Some would take photos and entertain
everyone in a small theatre. We lived like royalty. Well,
not quite, but we closely managed to achieve more
positive outcomes for ourselves and later our children.
1950s to late 1960s were indeed the new dawn of optimism rising from four decades of war and 24hour
heavy industry. The absolute essence of a functioning,
caring trusting community.
Pre – 1965, Alexander Neil, Summerhill School, set
the standard for professional youth workers in the
care of ‘delinquents’ as they were called pre-WWII.
Then they became our Brave Heroes. Probably influenced by Maria Montessori (Italian physician and educator, 1870 – 1952) a pioneer in giving young people
real life supervised experiences allowing every opportunity to make mistakes.Scandinavian countries
encourage 4 to 7 year olds to socialise in group games.
They communicate and cooperate with each other in
creative projects, and are given one to one time for
developing their individual skills or interests. Cooperation enabled higher grades and achievements in
their curriculum education. They learned to love, to
form stable relationships and basic rules of group conduct. Boys and girls learned about baby care and parenting. Religion taught love and compassion, instilling
a conscience and accountability for their conduct.
From 1914 to 1950: A Perpetual cycle of substandard
parenting in Glasgow, much as in other major cities,
was due to the generations of absent fathers subscripted or enrolled into the military. Each generation
of children virtually fatherless because dads were
killed, injured or traumatised by war. Contrary to
Feminist propaganda about 1950s women, my
friends, cousins and I were raised to wash, feed and
change younger siblings, clean house, bake, shop and
prepare food. If I every baulked, the standard reply
was “You will probably marry one day and you cannot
expect your wife to do everything.
In the 1990s, Students at Sterling and probably several
Universities researched residents of Elderly Care
Homes. They began with a cognition, memory quiz,
selecting residents with the most correct answers and
later a series of questions on their own personal information; birth dates, addresses etc. Finally, they were
asked to recall any incidents of child abuse, sexual assault or domestic violence. Only “a handful” knew of
any such incidents. I cited these studies in my ‘Honeypot Families’ (honeypotfamilies.com research) published for the 19/02/2015 Joint Committee on Human
Rights, Report (JCHR) on Domestic Violence and
Abuse of Girls. This report, concluded Britain was far
behind other Countries, ranking among the lowest 50.
Our “Further Studies” continuation study, focused on
male/female behaviour in its historical context. In conclusion, the critical role of young people, their place in
society then and now.
Q. In researching criminality, trauma, radicalisation
and child exploitation, have you been able to create
theories on how to restore mental and physical
wellbeing and wholeness to children and young
adults?
A. Facing the facts: A ray of hope could shine if we can
break the bonds of political propaganda and false narratives.I believe from recent events, that we are ascending out of a deep trough. 2016-18. The charity
and I wrote ‘The Deepest Void’ research of sectarianism, criminality and social conflicts between young
people, living in Bradford, each having different beliefs, agendas and objectives. The Orkney archipelago,
remains the safest and lowest crime region, providing
a magnificent ‘compare and contrast’
Post - 1965, from inception, UK schools have always
enforced strict discipline and orderly conduct, essentials to prepare young people for industry and military roles. Even today, UK schools do little or nothing
to socialise or prepare children for loving relationships, family bonding or parenthood. This is the reason for Dutybound.co.uk, calling for experienced and
enlightened parents to share their knowledge with the
next generation. I was fortunate to live in the murder
capital of Europe and third most violent city in the
world, next to Moscow and Washington, at that time.
Fortunate in sharing a culture and a community living
a higher quality of life than most young people in

1) Orcadians live with their natural father, even if the
parents live separately; In Bradford, fewer than 20%
ever know their father. Young mothers accept their
“30 pieces of silver” sacrificing their children on the
altar of wealth, property, free housing and state benefits. The ratio of F/T Police to Orcadians, including
most other Celtic regions, was one officer to 110,000
residents; Bradford employs around one per 1,200
residents. Some years, districts North of Central Belt
had 0 burglaries, ultra-low crime and Domestic abuse
