The All-Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) has
recognised Dr. Vivienne Mee, Founder and leader of
VMGroup, with the distinguished title of Business AllStar Digital Forensics Professional of the Year 2025.
Since its inception in 2014, VMGroup has become a
trusted name in Digital Forensics, eDiscovery, Data
Recovery, IT Audit, Information Security, and Risk
Assurance services.
Dr. Vivienne Mee - Founder of VMGroup, celebrates
being honoured as the Business All-Star Digital Forensics Professional of the Year 2025 by the All-Ireland
Business Foundation.
Under Dr. Mee’s leadership, VMGroup has grown

Reacting to the news of her company’s achievement,
Founder, Dr. Vivienne Mee said:
I am deeply honoured and humbled to receive this prestigious
personal recognition from the AIBF. This accreditation is a
testament to the journey I've undertaken in the field of digital
forensics, a path that has been significantly enriched by leading the exceptional team at VMGroup.
My journey to becoming a digital forensics professional
began with a childhood dream of entrepreneurship. That
spark, ignited by a second-place finish in the Ireland Young
Entrepreneur competition during my secondary school years,
has guided me throughout my career.
After completing my BSc, MSc, and PhD, I gained
invaluable experience working in both small consulting firms
and large corporates. These experiences taught me the intricacies of running a business, winning clients, and building
teams. More importantly, they showed me how crucial it is to
value both customers and employees.
The economic downturn of 2008 was a turning point.
Witnessing the impact on colleagues made me realise the importance of creating a business that not only excels in service
delivery but also genuinely cares for its team members.
This realisation led to the birth of VMForensics Limited in
June 2014… rebranded to VMGroup in later years. I set out
to deliver world-class digital forensics, data recovery, and electronic discovery services, differentiating ourselves through expertise and a commitment to excellence.
As we've grown from a one-woman operation to a respected
team of professionals, I've had the privilege of leading a group
of talented individuals who have pushed me to new heights.
Their expertise, dedication, and innovative thinking have
challenged me to continually evolve as a professional and
leader. This synergy has allowed me to achieve a level of
success that would not have been possible working alone.
This AIBF accreditation is a personal honour, but it also
reflects the collaborative environment we've fostered at VMGroup. It reinforces my commitment to continuous learning
and excellence in digital forensics, inspired daily by the incredible people I am surrounded by.
I'm incredibly proud of my personal growth and achievements in the field of digital forensics, which have been amplified by the collective efforts of the VMGroup team. This
recognition fuels my passion to continue innovating, mentoring, and pushing the boundaries of our industry.
