market sector and online databases some of which are
accessible without charge and other which are
subscription based. Analysis of the comparables and
their application to the subject property will result in
the reported value.
Many valuers will start to prepare the report after
the inspection but will not release it until their fees
have been paid so an invoice will be issued after the
inspection.
Expert Fire, Mechanical and Material Engineer
Engineering Forensics provides expert advice to solicitors, loss adjusters, insurers
and private clients.
We are experts in ecapes of water, mechanical failure, corrosion, collision

investigations.
All expert valuers want to provide timely and value for
money reports but there are many factors that
impact their performance. Most of these factors are external, so the best way to get the most from your valuer
is firstly provide as much information as possible during the fee quotation process, secondly ensure that the
instructions do not contain any surprises compared to
the initial fee quote email and finally understand that
the valuer has other properties to value, so there needs
to be flexibility in the availability of access for an inspection. If there are multiple properties in an instruction, a valuer would usually like to inspect as many as
possible in one trip, so arranging inspections of a group
of nearby properties in one go is always welcome.
