Passionate About Design
Every rooflight created reflects the skill, dedication and
expertise of the people behind it, from sourcing materials
to the final stages of production. We believe that where
and how something is made matters. It influences quality,
supports local jobs, strengthens communities and helps
preserve the manufacturing knowledge that has long been
part of Britain’s industrial past.
For bespoke projects, designs are developed using advanced
3D modelling software, allowing the design team to carefully
consider everything from planning constraints and heritage
requirements to thermal performance and installation
details. Therefore, creating a rooflight that not only performs
beautifully but also integrates seamlessly into the architecture
around it. With a vast catalogue of experience to draw on,
the team can create a solution using a combination of their
classic designs or produce something truly unique.
British manufacturing is more than a label; it’s about the
process. The blend of craftsmanship and innovation is what
sets our process apart. While modern CNC machinery
allows us to achieve exceptional levels of precision, the
human touch remains central to every product we make.
Every rooflight that leaves our studio has passed through
a series of carefully managed production stages, each one
overseen by skilled people committed to quality, precision
and consistency. Here’s a look behind the scenes at the key
stages that go into bringing our rooflights to life.
The Coating Process
Quality control is equally rigorous throughout production,
but it all starts with the steel frames. On arrival from
their UK fabricator partner, the frames are prepared to be
shotblasted and cleaned before a primer coat layer is sprayapplied, then oven-finished at 185 degrees to bond the
