Gather for annual LCA
Technical Seminar and
Murdoch Awards

Seminar and Murdoch Awards, drawing a record attendance of over 190 delegates to a
new venue in Kenilworth. Hosted by LCA Chairman Alasdair White, the event delivered
a strong mix of technical learning, legal insight, and sector collaboration.
Holmes & Hills Solicitors opened proceedings with an
interactive session titled “A Journey Through a Payment
Dispute,” guiding attendees through real-world scenarios and
practical management strategies. Historic England followed
with an update on its current workstreams, resources, and
opportunities for contractor input, ensuring the voice of
the leadwork sector continues to inform heritage policy and
guidance.

all professionals in the sector. The ILA provided essential
context around the forthcoming policy discussions, scientific
basis, and likely implications for contractors.
