Conclusion
Kidney-related negligence claims often revolve
around missed opportunities: opportunities to
monitor, diagnose, intervene, or refer in time. The
kidneys provide measurable markers (creatinine,
eGFR, urine output), and there are well-established
clinical guidelines for their protection. When these
are ignored, preventable harm can occur—making
kidney problems central to medical negligence
litigation.
